The workshop closes thinking about how PAR is not just about the times before and in the field, but also the process of exiting the field/remaining in the field; and ongoing engagement for researchers and participants. Have you thought about this in your work already? What strategies might you use? What have you seen other people use?

Most of the time, I 'begin with the end in mind' by planning/co-creating an ending with participants early on in our interactions. COVID made the later stages of the plan impossible to follow through re: my PhD research and it has been tough to accept.
Overall this is a real area of tension for me - between establishing open-ended relationships and establishing boundaries and endings. I tend towards the latter but it's something I remain open minded about depending on the project. I loved hearing Clare talk about her experiences of ongoing engagement in the workshop.
