Carlos discusses how the ASSETS project used PAR alongside other quantitative and qualitative research methods, including the idea of iterative PAR work (as inputs for future techniques). Have / had you thought about other methods that could be alongside/consecutively? What might be the benefits/drawbacks of doing so?

I'll kick us off! I don't think I'd thought really carefully about the possibility of PAR being used alongside other (especially quantative) methods - I often think of them as being in very different methodologies to each other and therefore perhaps less compatable? But listening to the way Carlos talked about the integration of mulitple methods I think will definitely try to integrate this more going forwards. I'm particuarly interested in participatory GIS and will definitely be reading more about this!
