Likewise! Thanks so much for putting this on! It's really too bad more folks didn't come along to the reflection session - I hope you get some good feedback through the survey. All the best and congrats on a great project!
So wonderful to reflect with you guys! We're going to close the forum a little earlier tonight as it's quite quiet but lovely to 'meet' you and hope to stay in touch!
I'm going to fight to use co-design even in difficult circumstances during lockdown.
I'm going to create more space for myself for short 'challenge' projects in the style of the 24 hour zine thing http://24hourzines.com/ of old - short sharp calls for contributions based on a prompt - it's my favourite way to work and I shouldn't forget that amid longterm projects.
I'm going to not feel guilty about wanting better supplies and a nicer workspace - just because marginalised folks and DIY folks are used to 'making do' I need to remember that I can have nice things!
These are so excellent! I think the short prompts are very important (I'm doing one for the wider lab in my department in a couple of weeks and I think/hope it should be really helpful for other people)
Going to ringfence time in my research process for creating relationships with participants and make plans for continuing these after the end of the research project
Think about how access can built in at every stage of research projects including recruitment
Remember that the personal is political and make time to reflect on this throughout my research process.

I'm going to work to make space for flexibility in grant writing so that research can shift to fit the needs of participants.
I'm going to ensure that access is at the centre of my projects
I'm going to build in time for changes and opting out.
